Good morning, folks!
Just a friendly reminder that we have a Cultural Collaborators meeting coming up this Saturday February 1st from 2-4 pm!
The event is free and open to the public. It is going to be a round table discussion on topics like cultural diversity and inclusion in not only the Creston Museum, but our community as a whole. Think of this as your chance to air any concerns you might have, and to also share your ideas for areas of improvement!
Though participation is encouraged (and no ideas here are considered silly!), we would be perfectly happy just to see some friendly new faces in attendance.
In the second half of the meeting, we will shift our focus to the early planning and organization of our first annual Fusion Festival! This event will be in celebration of Canadian Multiculturalism Day, and we need your help to make it a success! It’s a great opportunity to volunteer, better our community, and make connections with some wonderful people.
But wait, there’s more! We will be offering free coffee, tea, and snacks at the event, so really, there’s no reason not to come. Escape the snow and come for a Saturday afternoon chat – you won’t regret it.
