Task Overview: We have been undertaking an extensive review of the Museum’s exhibits, getting ideas from many many people about what to do with the Museum’s present and future exhibits. We have gathered a LOT of ideas! Some are suggestions for specific exhibit topics; others are much broader visions for the Museum as a whole. Some relate to ways to incorporate technology into exhibits; others are suggestions for helping people interact with the objects themselves. We invite you to help us go through all those ideas, decide what is feasible and practical, and turn it all into an exhibit plan to be implemented over the next several years.
Job Type: Short-term
Suitable for: Individuals
Schedule: We anticipate group discussions roughly once every two to three weeks between late November and mid-February. We will schedule these to suit everyone, and each discussion should last no more than two hours. In addition, there is a preliminary evaluation report to read prior to the first meeting, and you may wish to review the original survey feedback as well.
Requirements: This is a planning role, so we’re looking for people who can take a lot of big ideas, prioritise them, and turn them into a workable plan. The plan we come up with will guide the Museum’s exhibit-development work over the next three to five years, so this is a chance to make a lasting contribution.
