SUMMARY:Museum Clean-Up Day
DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of year again! \nBy which we mean\, the end of April and the start of the Museum’s busy season…and we need to get the whole place clean and sparkling for our visitors! \nPlease join us for the Museum Clean-Up Day on Saturday\, April 27\, starting at 10:00 AM. \nThere’s lots to do\, and something to suit everyone: \n\nDusting and sweeping floors\, windowsills\, shelves\, and displays\nTidying up displays – straightening pictures\, minor repairs\, that sort of thing\nRaking\, weeding\, and other yardwork\nPower washing outdoor objects\nOiling the logging arch (that might take more than one day)\nEt cetera\, et cetera\, et cetera (we’ll have a list!)\n\nIt’s a great way to go behind the scenes and get really hands-on with the Museum’s collections! Bring a friend\, family\, or the whole team…just please let us know in advance so we can make sure we have enough goodies. We provide coffee and goodies\, of course! \nWe start at 10:00 AM\, and go until we’re done. In past years\, it’s taken two to three hours. \nPlease bring brooms\, dustpans\, buckets\, soft rags\, rakes\, garden tools\, or anything else you think you might need for whatever job you decide to do – we have a few to share\, but more makes the work go faster!
