We have two spaces available to rent for your event - whether it's a meeting, a workshop, or a family event.
The Carr Building is a meeting/workshop space available year-round. The Courtyard - consisting of our lovely grounds, open patio, and covered gazebo - is available May through September.

Carr Building
The Carr Building is a classroom or meeting space complete with a (domestic quality) kitchen and washroom. It has tables and chairs for forty-eight when set up classroom-style, but its 30 x 30 foot main room is plenty large enough for more active activities when the tables and chairs are put away.
Rental is by donation. Suggested donations:
- $50 per half day or evening, $100 per full day
- Recurring use one or more times per week; $250-$350 per month (depending on availability)
- Use of kitchen, dishes, coffee pots, dishwasher (food to be provided by renter): $25 per day
Availability: Daily, year-round, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Please contact staff in advance to make arrangements for access if you are using the building outside of Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 - 4:00.

The Courtyard
The beautiful grounds and pleasant atmosphere at the Creston Museum make it a lovely spot for a family or business gathering, a birthday party, wedding photos, or even the wedding itself. The patio is partly shaded for part of the day and the gazebo is equipped with picnic tables just waiting for you.
Rental is by donation. Suggested donations:
- $25 per half day, $50 per full day for simple events that use the Courtyard as-is
- $100 per day for events requiring additional set-up, catering, etc, including set-up and take-down days.
Availability: Daily, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM, May through September. Please contact staff to make arrangements for evening use.
Rental does not include admission to the Museum. We can arrange for your group to tour the Museum for the group admission rate (currently $3 per person) in addition to the rental donation.

Wedding Package
If your wedding or other event needs a little more space, may we suggest our wedding package? Our previous brides have used the Carr Building as a dressing room and for food storage and final preparation, the lawn for the ceremony, and the patio for their reception and dinner.
Minimum donation of $1,000 incudes:
- Courtyard, Carr Building, and adjacent outdoor spaces for three full days and two evenings
- Access to all rented spaces for Friday set-up, Saturday ceremony, and Sunday clean-up
- On-site use of the Museum’s card tables and folding chairs
- Staff support during regular working hours (generally 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM). Staff support outside of these hours is subject to an additional fee of $50 per hour or part of an hour.
